2 Years Special Warranty Programme

In order to celebrate 8 years of operations, SPG in association with ASPIDA BODY ARMOUR would like to thank their customers for their purchase of a superior technical garment. In addition to the obvious benefits of the product, SPG has also offered a special warranty to its customers under this programme.

ASPIDA Body Armour offers the special warranty on certain products offered under this programme based on the following conditions;

1. Customer must register their purchase with SPG through the special link [click here] on the SPG website within 15 days of purchase. All successful registrants will receive an acknowledgement via email. Incomplete details will result in the registration being denied and the enhanced warranty offer being rescinded.

2. The following conditions are necessary to complete the registration successfully.
       a. Item must have been purchased from an authorised SPG Network Dealer.
       b. Item must have been purchased at MRP. Discounted and closeout items will not be covered under this scheme.
       c. A scanned image of the original retail invoice.
       d. A scanned image along with the unique SPG product bar-code that is pinned to every item.

SPG will maintain the record of the customer warranty registration on its database, so that the
customer no longer needs to worry about his/her purchase details.

1. CHILL! - 2 Year Extended Warranty Programme

All products covered under this programme are warranted against any manufacturing defect for a period of 2 calendar years from the date of purchase.

Exclusions:
Warranty is limited to manufacturing defects only. SPG will not be responsible for problems occurring due to the following reasons:

  • An accident or a fall
  • Any customization or a technical modification made by the user (paints, glue, adhesives,patches, etc)
  •  Application of/contact with harmful chemical products/harsh detergents or an intense heat source. 
  • Improper maintenance and care. Please adhere to the care instructions.
  • Usage under abnormal conditions. (eg. Non-waterproof gloves used in rain)
  • Colour fade due to prolonged exposure to sunlight/UV light, particularly for highviz and bright colours.
  • Ageing/damage of inner fabrics/liners due to usage.
  • Any normal wear and tear due to usage.
  • Fabric pilling.
  • Printed, flocked components and patches wearing out on usage. 
  • Damage to stitching, zippers, buttons, trims and other accessories due to usage.

Subjective concerns with the use of apparel such as comfort, size, weight, styling, etc will not be considered as defects under warranty.
Cosmetic Damages:
SPG makes all efforts to supply its re-sellers with only quality finished products. However, due to market conditions, products at reseller outlets may sometimes suffer minor cosmetic damage. This kind of damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty. Customers are therefore advised to check the products thoroughly at the time of purchase at the sales point. SPG will not be responsible for cosmetic damages found after the purchase. 
This programme is applicable ONLY though the Customer Care Centre located at SPG Head Office in Chennai. Shipping charges if applicable will be borne by the customer.

2. OOPS! Coverage

  • In case of self-inflicted or accidental damage to the product during the period of warranty, this special coverage offers the customer a 50% discount on the retail price of the same product if the registered customer decides to replace his product.
  • This offer is limited to replacement of the same product or an equivalent as determined by SPG. Upgrades are not possible.
  • The item to be replaced will be taken back by SPG before the new item is offered.
  • This programme is applicable only though the Customer Care Centre located at SPG Head Office in Chennai.
  • Shipping charges if applicable will be borne by the customer.


3. Yuck! Coverage

  • Registered customers are eligible for free cleaning service of their technical garment over the warranty period.
  • This is limited to 4 occasions during the period, every once in 6 calendar months.
  • Customers will not be eligible for more than one service occasion within a 6 month period.
  • The product to be cleaned must be sent in to the Customer Care Centre located at SPG Head Office in Chennai only.
  • Shipping Charges if applicable will be borne by the customer.


4. Crash Replacement

  • Registered customers may request for a free replacement of the garment damaged in a bonafide accident.
  • Proof of such an event is mandatory and is determined by submission of a police FIR copy.
  • This coverage is a goodwill gesture only and is strictly limited to product replacement only and no other liability, injury or claim is covered or implied.
  • All claims will be processed only through the Customer Care Centre located at SPG Head Office in Chennai.
  • Shipping charges if applicable will be borne by the customer.


All decisions regarding the validity or otherwise of claims arising out of this programme are at the sole discretion of SPG and final.
